Discovered this on a trawl through Spotify today. Nasal vocals are usually pretty much my prime bug bear, but they're so endearingly snotty and the album as a whole is just so ridiculous that I can't help but latch on to it.

Instrumentally it would have worked amazingly, absolutely - there's always something going on, even if the synth flourishes and splats of orchestration are all in bad taste.
