This sounds really interesting, are they like Cobalt at all? Good review btw, pos'd. I'm going to listen to this in about 5 minutes.

No not really like Cobalt. They sound a kinda like Forgotten Tomb, if you replace the depressive element with a punk element.

Just listened to the first song, pretty aggressive stuff, awesome rhythms as well.

It gets better as the album goes along. It has the agressiveness of black metal, the crushing riffs of doom, and also the chaotic punk stuff. It all fits together so well.

Dammit Hawks! Why did you have to alert me of this mere moments after I dropped off my laptop!? purdy good review, sounds like a more metal, more sludgy, more American Kvelertak. Looking forward to downloading this as soon as I get my laptop back.

Haha sorry man. A more black metal and sludgy version of Kvelertak is a pretty good way to look at it. I'm sure you'll enjoy this.

I'm sure I will. When something sounds good from a good reviewer, I'm almost never let down.

great review dude. I would take this out though:

The guitarists are simply named R.M. and A.S.

its not really necessary. Aside from that great review and I will be checking this out over the weekend.

Thanks man. I didn't have that in at first, but Spirit recommended that I should at least tell their names instead of just saying the guitarists and I agree with him.

hmm okay I see what you mean, it doesn't flow well though. What if you tried this:

The two guitarists, simply named R.M. and A.S, play guitar riffs that are sometimes normal black metal styled riffs and at other times the slow, crushing and "dirty" sounding riffs that wouldn't sound out of place on a sludge album.

Sorry, just trying to help. Hope that doesn't come off as sounding high-and-mighty. Overall though I think that flows a lot better and says the same thing.
