Kirgasm, I mistook your avatar at first for being a Diglett. I was on my Itouch. It was pretty funny.

I'm embarrassed by how much I liked this album.

She's probably emotionally unstable, so you'd have to first listen to her whine for an hour. And then maybe she'd let you stick it in her pooper, but not her pussy because she's saving that for marriage.

Taylor Momsen and I were born on the exact same day and year.

When she tries to be grunge like Courtney Love, it doesn't sound genuine. Juliet Simms from Automatic Loveletter does that style better. Still, some good pop/rock tracks near the end of Light Me Up show potential.

While The Pretty Reckless are officially a quartet, the spotlight clearly shines on 17 year old actress Taylor Momsen, whose astonishingly powerful & raspy voice dominates debut LP 'Light Me Up'. Sounding like a mix of Hole & Pink, the album has genuine crossover appeal... It rocks in a grungy way, but is also rather catchy. The slower songs are surprisingly good, as is the rare foray into blues-rock. Momsen over-emphasizes her rebellious attitude a little too much, and there are some cringe-worthy lyrics, but 'Light Me Up' is undoubtedly an interesting listen. Recommended Tracks: Make Me Wanna Die, Nothing Left to Lose, Since You're Gone & Just Tonight.

my friend (a girl), just showed me Make Me Wanna Die, and I should think it sucks, but instead I'm watching the damn video for the 3rd time in a row now. don't know is it because the song is damn catchy or because of the slow striptease in the video. I hope it's the latter

i'd bang taylor momsen, she's like my age anyway [2]

"Factory Girl" is an appropriate title. This girl was made.

A very 90's-like grunge album with the sound of Courtney Love and Pink. Nothing original, but a well made debut by The Pretty Reckless.

Album is still pretty great, and the best in their discog. It's been a slow decline in quality with every album though, it's a shame as their debut will probably remain their high point.
