Heat Death
I might be the only person on this site who believes that Some Blood is their best. Christ, that record might even be my favorite emo record next to ATTU. I really need to hear this, so I'm downloading it right now.

idk it's not the most technical emo album, but they are basically the main innovators of what is now modern post rock/skramz. plus it just has so much passion as well.

I actually had it as a classic for the longest time, and then I dropped my rating. I should dig it up again and once more overplay the hell out of it. I know it's the shortest track, but for some reason for a good 6 months or so I felt compelled to listen to 'No conversationalist, I' at least once every single day.

I really don't care what anyone else says or opines, because this majestic recording is the greatest album of all time (ever so slightly edging out Slint's groundbreaking "Spiderland"). I haven't since heard a more perfect blend of post hardcore and post rock.
In response to the reviewer's original comment: although Kevin Longendyke did some of the singing/screaming, Brandon Evans was the band's primary vocalist (and undoubtedly the one referred to in the review as having "the trepidation, the hesitancy, the desperation" in his voice).
