I've always been a huge Oasis fan, so I got to say I love them a lot. My favorite song by them was probably "Cast No Shadow".

This album just screams overrated at you! Oasis is just another product of the british hype machine aka NME. Nothing out of the ordinairy, and it has nothing to offer. I hate it!!

I'm not going to go on and say that the 'BEST' song is "She's Electric" but I will tell you, that it is my favourite, Best/Favourite- different so you're right in that it is slightly different to the rest of the album, however In my opinion; class act all the way through.

I think Oasis have transcended that, especially in the US where no one could care less about British rags.

Brilliant album. I remember when I first heard it. Good times. Morning Gloy will always hold a special place in my heart.
I disagree on the comments about Wonderwall. Extremely overrated IMO. I think Live Forever, Cigs & Alcohol, or Morning Glory better describe Oasis. Other then that, nice review! ;)

I love this cd...especially when i have a long trip ahead of me...good driving music! Favorites: Champagne Supernova, and Cast No Shadow, And dont look back in anger

The truth is, you could've made me listen to any song off this album without telling me who they are or what their influences are, and I could've told you they were a Beatles rip-off
Shes Electric is basically While My Guitar Gently Weeps in the chorus - but still this album was great, now I've matured I find that Definately Maybe is far superior, but Wonderwall is timeless a true classic!

Also to address the Liam was a terrible singer... sorry I mean he is a terrible singer... since when was Rock n Roll about singing? Could John Lennon sing? well better than Liam yes, but he was pretty bad too! Could Hendrix sing? not very well... Clapton? no! They all great musicians not singers! Also Liam's snarling style is appealing to some people!

I really enjoy this album, especially the title track, champagne supernova and Don't look back in anger. 5/5

This album owns. EVERY Song on here is a worthwhile track, compared to some of Oasis's recent work. Everytime i listen to this something stands out. Whether it be Noel Gallaghers amazing guitar leads, His beautiful songwriting, or Liam's vocals. and in response to what that one guy commented about Oasis stealing song lines and riffs - Fuck off! EVERY band has done that. Does it really matter if someone takes a line from an older song or an intro riff or something and makes it better? I wouldnt necessarily use the word "Stealing" either. Just the fact that Noel Gallagher can write such amazing lyrics proves that he doesnt need to use older lines, he just chooses to so he can respect his favourite artists.

I love Oasis and get so annoyed when people bag them out because they make it obvious where their loyalties lie. In music, everyone rips off everyone else off, Nirvana ripped off the Pixies but I don't here too many people jumping at the chance to pull 'em up on that... So what if Noel loves the Beatles and wants to show it, this album and its predecessor showed that Noel is a great songwriter who can write classic tunes like Supersonic and Wonderwall without having to steal fuck all.

could this be the finest follow up of all time!? with definitely maybe the boys from burnage had it all to do but did they ever deliver! a collection of songs that helped define the britpop era. The only weak link being shes electric but even that is head and shoulders above a lot of other songs so we can easily forgive that, top draw absolutley top draw
