fair enough, lakes. a lots of the votes are not trolling, as I really believe that if the review reads bad to them, then it is indeed a bad review. I got a lot of good advice here, though, and i'm glad some enjoyed it. I'll do my best to do better next time.

For the record, this isn't post hardcore. Listening to it right now, it hits pretty hard at points. Definitely more along the lines of... Above par scene-core? I can definitely relate to the idea that this release is much better than what I expected every time I saw an advertisement for it. This is better than anything else you'll get from the scene it's coming from right now. It's not groundbreaking in terms of music, but in terms of what we've grown to expect from this scene, it's better.

Sometime ago i put Senses Fail on my ipod and it was pre-labeled as emocore. At which point I went on a binge trying to emocore the fuck out.

I prefer Sadcore over Emocore. The latter isn't whiney enough.
