Best album performance of Corey's career thus far.

On Stone Sour's 3rd LP 'Audio Secrecy', the Iowan alt-metal band continue where the excellent 'Come What(ever) May' left off; by consolidating on their accessibly melodic hard-hitting sound. While they may not reach the heights of 'Through Glass', this album gets off to a cracking start before showcasing the quintet's under-valued diversity - even if it's not quite as cohesive as its predecessor. At 14 tracks & 54 minutes in length, 'Audio Secrecy' is over-long & contains too many ballads... Otherwise, however, it's another solid release from an under-rated band. Recommended Tracks: Say You'll Haunt Me, Mission Statement, The Bitter End & Threadbare.

I think it was a huge step forward and House of Gold and Bones Pt 1 was half a step back. I felt like Come What(ever) May was fairly above average.

Personally, I liked House of Gold, felt more, I don't know, heartfelt. This felt like 'The Corey Show'. Don't get me wrong, I love him and the songs on here are all good, but it's nothing amazing to me.

"House Of Gold And Bones Part 1" is the best thing they have put out to date, even if the screaming is quite bad. "Audio Secrecy" was some fantastic radio rock music however and does deserve some acclaim.

Hm lol I read what you're saying Neo, but I don't understand how you get to that conclusion. To me this album is the most heartfelt, openly honest thing Corey has put out, rather than seeing it as an ego trip. More like an 'emo trip'. =p Or just more accessible.

I agree with Storm In A Teacup on that, this was mainly about his wife and is well written as well
