If you need something to cover, most of Rick Wakeman's solo material is not yet reviewed.

vanderb0b, I would imagine you very well, covering some Wakeman's albums, for you love the tales and legends and stuff. Your poet-like style of writing and the pianist you are make you a great candidate, but yes, I'd like to do 'The Myths and Legends of King Arthur' eventually. On the other hand, please do 'The Six Wives of Henry VIII'

I'm taking a short break from the Tull discography, partially because I have yet to download/listen to most of the remaining albums, but mainly because I wanted to write about something else for a change. If all goes well, today I'll review Carmen's Fandangos In Space (a mixture of prog and flamenco, has Tull's John Glascock playing bass) and tomorrow, I'll try covering The Six Wives. Really interested to read your review of Myths And Legends

For a site so obsessed with prog I'm amazed how overlooked this album is. By the way, Nag, your avatar is win

Thanks Mr. Mackenzie, that's the second one to mention it in the same thread while I haven't had any mention of it before.

I'm always looking forward to read your reviews, vanderb0b. If you do 'The Six Wives', I promise I'll do 'King Arthur' sometime soon. It's already on my priority list.

Nag, your Star Wars' little monster was not bad either. (couple months ago)
@Lakes: I take good note, and I add it to the ProgJect' list, thanx!

Oh yeah Joe, I've listened to Leftoverture so far (got their other three of the first four downloaded as well). It was pretty great but I was not particularly amazed
I think it was longer ago than that Jethro, my whole Yoda persona.

I own their famous live 'Two for the Show, wich has some amazing renditions (e.g. Magnum Opus, Closet Chronicles). My brother must have most of their debut albums. I have to borrow some of these.
edit: Kansas have too much fillers in each and every output imo.

Kansas is a very respectable band. To be honest, I never took the time to listen to an entire album, except for their live one. that being said, don't get me wrong, I love their kind of music. So what is the best thing?...Going chronologically...?

The end of this song is EPIC
edit: I absolutely love 'Song for America'. My brother covers it perfectly on drums.
I think my fav of theirs (top 5 at least) is prly 'Journey from Mariabronn'

Is it the Gowan who penned 'Criminal Mind'?
@Thunder: I agree, this is their best, but they are not meh by any means

Nice, so it's gonna be awesome, lucky you!!
edit: Of what I've heard from Gowan, back in 80's, he's got pretty much the DeYoung vocal range.
