Really happy with this album. Sparse, transcendent, atmospheric brilliance. And the best background music ever. These guys are really consistent, as I've been listening for 5 years and it's still REALLY good. This is a good musical moment for me, time to go into exile for awhile while my wife nags me for wearing headphones all the time...

Their last album was great, I was thinking about reviewing this. Seems like I should listen to it now...

I'm not that into the ambient / post-rock stuff, but this is pretty relaxing for the mind. Nice album cover as well.

The music video they made for one of the tracks captured the atmosphere well.

This album a good place to start with this band? I was going through a post-rock binge a couple months back and kept meaning to download Eyes Like Brontide, but never did...

This reminds me a bit of Proem's Socially Inept actually. It's the kind of stuff that really takes you somewhere else when you're in the mood.

Haven't heard this yet, but the review + comments make me want to get this. Except that one comment saying music doesn't help you fall asleep......that's like saying christianity is real, sorry to let you in on the truth.
