"I've had many different girls inside my bed, but only one or two inside my head"

I relate to his lyrics so well.

I don't but that's probably because of my lack of experience in life :]

So I am on my first time listening to this and it is just what I was looking for. Pretty damn good.

Seeing him live has increased my appreciation of him - and this album in particular - tenfold.

3. I Still Believe annoys me

4. Rivers is entirely forgettable

5. I Am Disappeared is ok but the end twiddles on for far too long

6. English Curse lol this song

7. One Foot Before the Other has good lyrics but the rest is meh

9. Wessex Boy doesn't do anything

10. Nights Become Days is incredibly boring

11. Redemption only gets interesting when he goes into the higher register but otherwise lol this song

question answered?

agreed, the album has way too much filler for its own good

He was fucking awesome at Kendal Calling. Photosynthesis was the final song, and he made the entire festival crowd sit down. Then during the final chorus he made us all jump up during the line "I won't sit down" and everyone went mental. Incredible.

I saw him at a free show on Saturday, and he was absoloutly brilliant. Probably the best I've seen him. Songs Of Liberty is amazing live, though you can say that about most of his catalogue.

Was that the one that replaced that festival that was cancelled? I saw him talking about it on Twitter, what a total lad.

Yeah that's the one. He was 2nd from top of the bill but I'd take an hour and a half of Frank Turner over two days of mostly decent-ish music any day.

And it was pissing with rain all day so that was another bonus!

Who was top of the bill? I imagine after you've taken the trouble to organise a replacement gig, the pay-off playing to such a grateful crowd must make it a pretty sweet set!

Echo and the Bunnymen were top on the Saturday, Calvin Harris top on the Sunday. Frank was easily the best across both days though, and yeah the crowd was excellent, though in fairness I've never seen him have a bad one.

What's his festival setlist like? I plan on seeing him at Leeds fest in a few weeks...

The first few tracks and especially Long Live The Queen are among his best songs
