For the last 10 years I thought the band name was Grateful Dad.

Hey everyone!

I'm sort of new to the Grateful Dead. I've only heard this and "Workingman's Dead."

Which Dead record should I listen to next?

TERRAPIN STATION (16:00) IS AN AMAZING SONG, but not the best album of theirs. I like AB the best.

This album uncovers an unwritten language, illuminates unseen passages- in its transcendent fluidity, it helps one to meander lands of hope and sorrow on a journey of truth; along the way, it shows and highlights the past and future in a way that touches upon roots- it surely is one of music's awesome achievements, and the fact that the Dead did this is a sublime moment in the sunshine amid a week of unsure changes

haha that was great

Albums good but I cant get into it as much as Workingman's Dead. Should really try and get into these guys harder; barely given the albums I have any time. I just shuffle all their songs and like what I here every time so I just keep doing it. Its hard to get to know songs that way

for sure, its so down to earth but has this presence that cant be explained, I listen to them whenever I involve myself with certain substances

One of the albums turned music into an obsession of mine. Whenever I listen, I can't help but smile. Ripple and Brokedown Palace are beyond beautiful.

I like to keep things mellow and just downright happy, puts me in a great place. Dont get me wrong I love Sphongle and it compliments a trip well but I usually perfer Jefferson Airplane or something out of the 70s cause a lot of the era really embraced that feeling
