You must be under the impression I want to or care, neither of those things are me right now

You must be under the impression that I'm always serious all the time and not joking.
|
| |
You must think I pay attention to everything you say
|
| |
You must think that I must think that you must think that I must think that you must think I care.

No

who said anything about falling into the same category, dev? all I said was that they sounded similar.
|
| |
Category was the wrong word, my bad. But the comparison is really only the same as comparing a bm and a dm band and saying "oh look, both have harsh vocals and guitars"
Yeah, they use similar things but they're being utilised in completely different ways

dubstep has been on a meteoric rise to popularity since about 2001 when john peel started playing it on his radio show. where the shit have you been?!

Why did you put "again" as well? Its never gone out of fashion, its just starting to get mainstream recognition now

haha yeah, very rarely does a form of music gain popularity, lose it, and then gain it again. except for the likes of andrew w. k. the BASTARD.

It's been around longer than House bro.

Huh? House has been around since the 80s. Garage emerged out of house in the 90s.

I have to disagree I really enjoy him experimenting. I guess it depends on what your conception of dubstep should be. Skream himself said it's not a dubstep album anyway. Perhaps if you look at it from that perspective you could enjoy it more.
|
| |
Well if the album didn't contain any dubstep in it, then sure I could look at it that way. But I also looked at it as being too poppy, too friendly and that's why I rated it so

Parts of this album can only be described as the musical equivalent of crack. "How Real" has gotten maybe 20 plays tonight alone.
