i never understood why so many people hated these guys. i've enjoyed basically everything they have lol
turtle nipple was incredible and i'm glad they didn't go for exactly that with this. the singer seemed kinda lazy at times on turtle nipple but he really stepped up here it seems.

I'm not a huge fan of HHLL, but I definitely enjoy this album more than their others. Their vocalist seems to be losing his voice on this album, yet it makes it all the better.

It's probably safe to say that they're done by this point. The lead singer has a lo-fi indie rock band that kind of sounds like the microphones that seems interesting called Dad's. That'll be something worth checking out based on the demo they've released so far. The recent touring line up also released a video under the name Rape Tunnel that sounds kind of similar to HHLL.
