I disagree with this review. Well written, yes. Self indulgent? Maybe. I agree that Funeral is their best, but I also strongly think that this is better than Neon Bible. It may not have the highs of that album, but the lows are far more enjoyable to me.



I'm just very excited to see what they do next. Rumors say the next LP may come in 2012, and I'm hoping to see a return to Funeral-form. More Neighborhoods please!

a real step back, u're right...

I must agree with this. I'm not even sure if I want to listen to Reflektor because I loved AF's first album and thought Neon Bible was bloated and overlong but had some real shining gems on it. This though, it starts off good but then quickly goes downhill... I'll take Reflektor with a grain of salt.
