the vocalist is homeless by choice, sleeps in a field, and grows weed for a living.

Alright, to state that this album is boring. is just that every song sounds exactly the same- or it just ends in some wank with matt sotello (who is a very talented guitarist no doubt) soloing his balls off. i just thought that they had said polarity was going to be a more of a "...and time begins" sound and whenever i heard the first teaser track (ADOTS) i thought "well... hmm okay, maybe the other songs don't necessarily sound like the wanking/boringfest that was DBW." i mean, if you like the album- i can understand because you enjoy the solos, the melodic stuff, and bills harsh vocals as well as the excellent drumming. this album didn't do it for as much as ...And Time Begins because i had hopes for that kind of sound.

Maybe if you go back and listen to ...And Time Begins, and see how much of a difference it was than DBW, maybe you'll understand me. I for one- do NOT like the melodic sound that they are going towards.

alright this is the most i've typed for a comment on sputnik ever

I ended up buying this album this week and I like it a lot. The guitar melodies are well done and I think the strongest part about this album. I mean, I like every thing about the, but the melodies are really strong.

Decent album, not as good as DBW... can't help but be slightly disappointed.

Album picks up starting with the title track onward save for that instrumental/proggy song that lasts 1min.

Oh yeah, and the drumming fucking sucks on this album, KC.... step your game up.
