How does this album get one page of responses, Zappa may be one of the best musicians ever, and I do not think I am exaggerating, the man can do everything, including putting out killer jazz albums like this one.

Have 3 copies, sorry to brag, the cool thing is he puts this out, but also has albums like Absolutely free, and Sheik Yurbouti, 3 completly different styles, but his jazz stuff is so great, Waka/Jawaka, and Chunga's Revenge are my favorite other jazz releases.
