Chances are I'll probably have this at a 4 after I jam it a few more times. Both albums were growers for me, KoC just grew on me a lot quicker.

Agreed. Don't think this is their weakest either. It's not top 3 or anything but it most definitely earns a decent spot in the ranks. This was one of my first immolation listens so I'll probably always have that little soft spot for it

Yeah Shadows In Light was great as well, probably prefer it to this my a hair. My top three so far are still CTAWB, Unholy Cult, & Failures for Gods, but I still have to listen to their final three. Either way these guys are shaping up to take the throne for my favorite DM band. Not sure why I hadn’t bothered to dive into their full discog before, especially since i’ve always loved CTAWB. Better late than never I suppose.
