I thought this was a review for an album by the band phoenix so my first read through was basically just a work out for my eyebrows. Started again though, liked the review, probably won't listen to this album.

I know these guys from my hometown. I listened to it a few weeks ago when it leaked and was not impressed at all. Interesting considering a mutual friend of ours heard their album demos a while ago and told them they needed to step up their game and go outside of the box instead of rehashing the same tired-ass pop-punk/post-hardcore formulas... guess they didn't listen

I can see where you're coming from and hopefully you'll like what you find. This rating does seem to match up more with others on average, though.

Ya but I hate electronica. Haha ya I'll probably be disappointed with this, but ya never know. To me it just seems like you're really hard on Post-hardcore. What would you rate In Shallow Seas We Sail?

I've listened to it only once or twice all the way through tbh, but it's a solid 3.5 at least.
These guys are much more on the pop punk side imo

If These Streets Could Talk was great, but then they went and changed everything that was good about it. A Static Lullaby did the same thing after their debut.
