I've said this before, but No Funeral might be the catchiest black metal song ever.

It's psychedelic rock with a ton of BM influence, kind of the opposite of Assassins.

Who cares though it's awesome.

I understand why the purists might hate it, but it's like a nice amalgamation of black metal and stoner metal. Those are 2 genres I love a lot. So no complaints.

This isn't even really bm it's like psych metal with a few bm influences.

But it's still good.

Great review dude!I've always been interested in the more experimental side of black metal.Black metal bands like Immortal and all those other face paint kind of bands (Not all but a lot of them) really bore me because they pretty much use the same approach with the genre.Definitely checking this out very soon.

You know I listened to this whole album on my ride home from work, and there really isn't one song that I dislike on it. Front to back, I would say this superb! If people listened to it without being in a black metal frame of mind, it makes more sense.
