I didn't really like your cover if i'm being honest. It needs less throat and more voice in my opinion. Phil is a difficult person to mimic though.

I haven't listened to this in a while but I was a pretty big WC fan once although I know this site isn't fond of them. Still got a soft spot for em.

I do remember enjoying this somewhat. I'll have to give it another listen.

@KSK: I agree I do need to refine more, I actually only have been able to do false chord growls since a few days ago so I probably just need time. After listening to my cover a few times, I believe I need a little bit more of a pushing gurgle and a bit more clarity in my pronunciation. I also believe the quiet mixing made it not sound as good as it could have though.

Yeah I mean if you just started recently that's understandable. Also i'm assuming it was recorded with something rather low quality which can make it sound kinda off as well.

Ok. One bash whitechapel all you want but in my opinion they have been one of the better deathcore bands out there. In a scene that gives us clone after clone off the same stuff whitechapel at least tries to break the barrier.
