I used to really love Traced in Air. Gave it a 5 after a few listens and then it eventually wore off me a little bit. Have it as a 4 right now and I really don't see it ever going back up. Same with this album, will probably stay at 3.5. Cynic is a really great band, but people jizz over them way too much.

I agree with what Hawks is saying. This album is technically great but it just doesn't hold my attention. I had it as a 4 initially but dropped rating after a few listens.

I actually hated this when I first heard it, never listened to it for a long time and had the rating at a 2.5, then for some reason I felt like listening to Veil of Maya and a few tracks off Traced in Air and became a huge Cynic fan.
