This has really grown off of me but this along with believe got me into nu-metal completely. I dont know, a lot of ppl hate it but I love it. Overburdened is my favorite now.

Nice recommendations. I agree with you about Avarice. Horrible ending. Stricken is the best song on this album. Good review, could use some background info and this would be better.

the title track wasnt half bad, but the rest of the CD, they're just washed up and trying to make an extra buck

disturbed is no longer nu-metal, but now post-nu-metal

I borrowed this off my friend. It was better than what I expected, but its not amazing. Guarded and Avarice are pretty good though.

I thought they showed some metal maturity on this album. I'm glad their not like every other band that tries something different and turns into pure crap!

Stricken has one of my favorite solos of all time. I don't know why, it isn't technical or even that emotional, but I fukin' love it and love playin it.

When the only good song on an album is a cover, you have a problem.

I always thought Overburdened was a great song. Not a big fan but I have enjoyed many of Disturbed's old and new songs.

This was the album that got me away from rap and into rock and metal, so I really have to thank this band or else it would be rap and Fall out Boy for me instead of The Misfits and Megadeth.
