I'm really excited. This and The Womb of Primordial Nature both rule so I'm expecting it to be awesome.

Been on an atmospheric black metal binge. Just downloaded about 30 albums like this one. Stuff is really chill.

I dont see that much of a difference between this and melodeath though. Theres some folk elements like early In Flames here and alot of melody. You can tell em apart but there are alot of similarities. I guess Ill just never really like that much straight up death and black metal. The extra melody/atmosphere adds so much to it to me that it sounds dull without it.

Ok now I know you're a troll.

How so? This album has alot of melodic leads and folk elements. Its a little more post rocky but its not that much different.

Probably because atmospheric black metal doesn't sound like melodeath at all. They can both have folk elements and melody without sounding similar, which they don't at all.

Like I said you can tell them apart, but they're both appealing in the same way to me. The melody/atmosphere coupled
with the harsh vocals makes a beautiful, yet dark experience. Ha. Melodeath is a little faster paced while atmospheric
black metal is obviously more about the atmosphere, but I like them both because without the melody/atmosphere I
wouldnt like it. At least as of this moment.

An awesome project. One of my favorites actually. Having Marko play the drums was such a great choice.

I see what you're saying. I can liken this to some Insomnium. There are still obvious differences, but they have a similar feel.

Idk about all that dude. I think this is completely different than Insomnium.

I'm reaching here, but I can see the similarities between their visions. Both a sort of melancholy with a sense of hope. Of course the structural differences are apparent, but you can't tell me "Above the Weeping World"
doesn't give you a similar vibe to this... just in a Melo-Death way.

Not really. Then again I don't like Above the Weeping World so that might have something to do with it.

Also completely changed my opinion on Insomnium now that I'm looking at my previous comments too hahahaha.

listen to Above the Weeping World...why yes, what a splendid idea.
Also, ive always been fond of October Tide- Rain Without End. bit more doom, but same melodic thing going.
