I have to disagree with you on the fact that the last good thing Cavalera did was Soulfly's s/t, because I do thoroughly enjoy both this and Dark Ages, plus records like Primitive and Prophecy aren't bad either.
Kind of weird that I have a soft spot for Primitive hahahahaha. But seriously, his newer albums might be fun and all but they're generic as fuck hahahaha.

I'd agree with you about Prophecy and Conquer (about them being fun but generic), but dude, Dark Ages is great. You really need to spin that one again if you find the initiative. Also, this one is streaming on Blabbermouth so, again, when and if you find any initiative you can give it a go.

I think it all depends on whether you like this kind of groove filled nu-thrash or not. If you do like it, then give this a go, if it doesn't sound too appealing to you then there's better metal from this year you could listen to.

the last soufly album I bought was dark ages! That was okay. Is this better? I take Dark Ages as my favorite Soulfly album, but this is number 2 after that. It's a bit more dynamic than Dark Ages, but imo that one had a bit more swagger. The difference isn't big though, and if you enjoyed some previous Soulfly albums more than Dark Ages then this should be right up your alley anyway.
