Bloc broke

I caught them when they were touring Hold Your Colour, and it must be said that they do put on a good live show

I gotta say, the only song I've heard on this album is Self Vs. Self, and that's only because I'm an In Flames fan. It's funny though. I find this to be their best song since the 90's, and they go ahead an release it on a Pendulum album. Nevertheless, I plan on giving the rest of the album a listen since I fancy the singer's voice.

Let's get one thing straight, I don't know Pendulum or anything, but I know In Flames damn well. This is NOT TRUE. "Which is fine had this been an In Flames album". In Flames did do more work on this track but it's obviously not their kind of thing (I hope at least that it won't be). The track is awesome, I really like the blend of the two genres, but this is, as it's said, Pendulum feat. In Flames. Not the other way around.

This album is fucking unreal. A masterpiece. I'm utterly addicted to it.

Well, for most of the track as you've said, you can hear In Flames more than Pendulum, in terms of guitar and Anders' singing. But still, this is far from being an "In Flames song", if a thing like that still exists. In Flames' songs have a lot more guitar work, and dual guitars, also a solo, here I believe only Björn is handling guitar duties, and of course, there's the lack of a solo to make it an In Flames song. Point is, this is an excellent collaboration and the outcome of it is this awesome track. In the meanwhile I've listened to the rest of the album, and I was very pleased to find Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree here too, that track is a true rival to Self Vs Self in terms of awesomeness. Can't say I like the other stuff a lot though, except for Witchcraft which is just fucking hypnotizing and perhaps Salt in the Wounds, and maybe 2 more songs. But just because of those 4 I feel this album deserves the rating I gave it.
