I don't get the popularity of this group at all. If this is the best dance music can give us now then I find that depressing. At least the best earlier dance music had melody, the whole 80s was virtually a dance decade.

I've always thought of them as a modern talking heads but instead of being all artsy and weird they're hip and ironic. LCD Soundsystem is all I've been listening to for the last month, they're just too good. Loving their new Sessions LP.

Dance Yrself Clean destroys,slays,shits all over everything else on the album. At first i thought i liked it the whole album, and didnt understand why everyone thought it was bland. After a second spin i agree.
however DanceYrself Clean might just be my favorite song of the year.
