Adult Swim loves to discard great shows. Brendon Smalls did a lot for Adult Swim not even just Metalocalypse, but Home Movies as well, and others. They're not even half the network they used to be in the early 2000's, it's a shame. They Cancelled Aqua Teen last year too which was their longest running classic TV show. Dave Willis didn't even get a reason why, and he's been there for years. I know their ratings were fine too, it's ridiculous. The only new hype living up to their classic era is Rick and Morty and they don't even deserve that. Sorry, I could go on a longer tangent about how much they blow now, but I'll leave it there. Adam Reed and his crew had the right idea of switching stations after Frisky Dingo was cancelled.
Venture Bros last season was damn great, probably one of the only few shows I still tune in for. I have a feeling it might be a little while though they're pretty slow on development.

tbh I agree with Adult Swin on the direction of the show. The first two seasons were great but as it got more serious and they started getting more into all that ~operation falconback~ and ~church of the black clock~ lore shite it became way less funny.
The Big Lez Show is suffering a similar fate cause the creators think they're way smarter than they actually are rip ahrd m/

I think Metalocalypse suffered in quality when they tried to turn it into a 21 minute show instead of the the original 11-minute-long format.
