Creatures of the Night is a tune. Not really keen on much else.

Sorry to be negative on my first post, but I created this account to discuss this album. I thought this review was rushed and poorly written. I give you props for the effort, but I felt like you could have touched on a whole lot more about these guys.

I just have to laugh at those who call this a poor-man's Protest the Hero. These guys follow melody much, much better. Their lyrics are incredibly well-written. Their singer, while not for everyone, still makes himself stand-out and get himself stuck in your head.

People should drop the elitist attitude, and accept that their are other people out there who are incredibly talented. How good these guys are takes nothing away from those other great bands, so dont hate just to hate. This thread sounds like blabbermouth and its sad as hell.

These guys touch on topics that most people are afraid to, and they clearly let their imaginations take them away in their music. How can you possibly hate that? Also, if you guys know anything about Nick Sampson, you'll appreciate this band even more.

These guys are much more than a "Poor Man's" anybody.

Wankery much?

Sounds like they listen to Protest The Hero and jizz while listening.

Way overrated.

I have never heard Protest the Hero, but this reminds me a little of A7X's 'Waken the Fallen,' except without the screaming vocals and the mass amount of goth they had going on. The instrumentation is very technical and well-done (especially the guitars), and the vocals are decent, but leave a little to be desired.
