excellent review Cha, didnt think you'd 5 it though. It is pretty much a near masterpiece, between a 4 and 4.5, but it may grow further. England, Conversation 16, Terrible Love, Afraid of Everyone and Bloodbuzz Ohio are all amazing.

wow, that might be the best Chan review I've read yet. Very impressive. I don't know what my final rating will be, but I agree this is immensely wonderful. I know they're nothing like U2, but if I was to compare albums in their respective careers, I'd say Alligator was their War, Boxer was their Joshua Tree and this is their Achtung Baby.
I feel like this one embraces something more than the lo-fi feel of the last few albums (I hear more fuzz, keys and a general "21st century" atmosphere).
Lemonworld, Coversation 16 and Anyone's Ghost are my early favorites... Deftones could have a contender for aoty for me.
