Well, there were little things that caught my ear here. The falsetto in the break down on the first track, the whispers- I actually liked those, I admit it-, the "whoa"s in that other song...
Not to mention there's no "Eye of the Storm" on this album. The last album really did have some atrocious lyrics. I think they're better when they stick to vaguely bad emotional lyrics.
...But, is it just me, or does he pronounce things like a small child some times? "You will pay da pwice fo' your betwayal!"? Or am I just hearing things?

One-dimensional clean vocals reign supreme and really wallow in the realm of desperately accessible and laughably devoid of any emotion besides the pseudo-tough guy attitude given in “Fever” which sounds both out-of place (even for a Bullet For My Valentine song) and irrefutably phony.
