Just very old school. In Sides is amazing too yeah. Thoughts on Snivilization?

Nice. It's a weirdo that one, but it's good. Many many vocal samples.

Man, Halcyon and On and On envokes the most wistful nostalgia in me. It's so beautiful and painful. It's pure.

Exactly. I hear you say that on a daily basis.

I listen to a huge range of different music, but I keep cycling BACK to these Orbital CD's. Have been hooked since I listened to the "Green" Orbital1 release around 1992... 29 years ago! (Damn I'm getting OLD).
The "Brown" release for me still edges out most of the others for it's nearly continuous journey of foot tapping trance inducing ear candy. That's not meant to disparage any of their other releases which I think are ALL wonderful aural experiences. Whenever I cycle back to listen to ANYTHING Orbital I always end up listening to most of the albums listed above. At the end of my Orbital binge is usually a double or triple tap of the "Brown" cd Orbital2. Can't explain WHY I love this one just a little bit more that all the others. Maybe it has something to do with "Time becoming a Loop"? :-)

Halcyon + On + On is so good. I've loved that song since hearing it in the 90s Mortal Kombat soundtrack as a kid and it still holds up insanely well
finally getting to the rest of the album too
