IOR is more catchy modern metal but their self-titled is much more serious and heavier! ye pure hatred is my favourite song, i love the breakdown

This album rocks, good review! I'm yet to hear anything from the self-titled, I heard it sucked first, but apparently it is pretty good, I'll see. Gonna have to add that one to the list. Does anyone else really enjoy Army Of Me from the Freddy VS Jason soundtrack? Oh, and does anyone know who's drumming on there, is it Andols or Kevin Tally? This Message Edited On 05.18.06

Herrick in on the impossibility of reason and talley is on the self titlted. Herrick is sooooooo much better than talley IMO.

I knew that, I'm asking who drummed in that song, it's not on a Chimaira album.

I liked the title track the best, mostly because of Andols' intro. This album is by far the best one they have put out, for me anyways. Every instrumental element of this album is well executed, but Marks vocals just don't do it for me. Either way, this was a great album.

I don't see how Stigmurder is repetitive... Actually, I thought the last four songs were the best on the album... (plus the title track, pictures, and dehumanizing)

I thought this album was them at their best, they are so aggressive in this album...hint songs "Power Trip", "Pure Hatred", "Cleansation", etc...

If you thought Pleasure in Pain was kickass, get it. I'd say about half the songs are better.

Chimaira used to be one of my favourite bands.

I still like them quite a bit but I've kinda moved on from them in a sense. However the album is worth a 4 for Implements Of Destruction alone...song is awesome.

Self-titled is definitely my fave though. This Message Edited On 09.06.08
