Effloresce is def the 2nd best. I find it more emotional than this one, but Frames is just better altogether.

Everyone Into Position will probably always be my favorite. Years and years worth of memories with that one. My all time favorite album. As far as the best collection of songs, Effloresce takes the cake. Best songwriting/musicianship, that'd be Frames. But I truly believe Everyone Into Position is their best album.

I am loving Self Preserved, but I'm going through the same phase that I did with Frames: took probably a year after its release for me to realize its full potential.

Self-Preserved is the least amazing but their other three are all pretty close. Have to say Frames is their best though.

I guess Self-Preserved is my least favorite of the full-lengths, but it's still a high 4/5 for me, so I'm not really complaining too much.

And yes Frames is def the best.

That's how I see it as well. I like to think most fans of the band would agree with your statement.

Sputnik undoubtedly likes Frames the most, but if you're part of the official forum, it is Effloresce and the competition doesn't

even pose a threat.

Just looked it up, if anyone is interested. The last "best/favorite 'size album" poll we did on the forum was in the 2008, and the results were:

Effloresce - 70 votes

Everyone Into Position - 32 votes

Frames - 57

Music For Nurses - 11

I of course voted EIP and still to this day cannot believe that it only got 32. Can't wait for a few more months to pass and for someone to restart this poll.

Sputnik needs fucking polls.

The Music For Nurses EP is kinda underrated still. I think I'd stick with Effloresce overall.

I think M4N is their most consistent work to date, but I don't see any point in comparing it to full lengths. I'd still rather listen to it than 95% of all albums. 1/0 is easily one of their best songs ever.

I could actually understand Effloresce being their best. It's more diverse and the three different

sections are done really well. And the sound is a bit more original than Frames, in a sense. I

personally think they perfected their sound with Frames, but that's just me.
