I feel like the review itself gave a lower rating than a 4. Not badly written though. I also have a
bit of a bone to pick with reviews that judge hardcore releases in the same way as one would judge a
much more technical genre. Hardcore doesn't do bells and whistles, they do emotion and message, which
I think Hundredth nailed pretty well on this album, but I definitely agree with the rating.
Also, I'm sorry but have you HEARD Betrayer?

pretty good album with great feeling to it,in my opinion.
Nice to see that there are done some cleanvocals that really fit the music,which the most bands don´t manage to create.

I liked Betrayer as much as if not more than Desolate. Epic catchy chorus is epic.

I was missing that track for some reason. Now that I have heard it, I liked it quite a bit, however, Desolate is a favorite still.

guitars on this record are kinda lame imo. even boring at times.
it prevails and mis sigs eat them any day.
not even "desolate" gets me. the breakdowns are weak :/
the only good thing I can find is the shouter.
anyway, if you want a good newcomer band in melo hc, mb check out counterparts .)

I would seriously recommend it. I can see how the lyrics can come off as really gimmicky, but the first time I saw these guys, it was live, and they were really passionate and genuine about it. Great dudes to talk to, and pretty good inspiring melodic hardcore/metalcore.
