I strongly disliked his most recent album. Ugh, such a shame, such a shame.

It's not extensively obvious, but I definitely can hear the Radiohead bleeding out of this one. It's not bad, but there's room for improvement.

They have a list of like 5-6 songs that will never let me forget this band. They aren't one of those groups I think about all the time but when I do I always go back to this album and their debut.

A bad dream is good yeah. But I just wish that they kept the more uptempo, slightly electronic approach that they tried on "Is it any wonder" (although it's basically a U2 tribute song)

I think they had a nice balance going between piano rock and electronics, but that was ruined after this album. The 'Somewhere Only We Know' type of sound was them at their best IMO. Strangeland wasn't a bad comeback album, either. I still jam 'Disconnected' from time to time.

its such a shame they went down the drain after this record, their first two albums are amazing.

Agreed. The newest one is okay but not even close to this album

Have always loved this album, one of the most unique atmospheres of any album I've heard, very underappreciated. First 4 tracks are all pretty much perfect, I'm surprised theres pretty much no mention of Leaving So Soon around here, that has to be one of the most euphoric vocal hooks ever

Yeah I really miss the Keane of old. I'm not really sure why they faded so fast. Either they ran out of ideas or they tried too many bad ones. They could have just continued down the path of their first two releases and they would have been just fine.
