"the only song I don't like at all is Jinx"

jinx does make haushinka all the more explosive though.

I guess so, more like it makes it so much better because of the crap that came before it. Pardon my french, it's just literally one of my least favourite GD studio album songs.

not for me, but most of my least favorite green day songs come from uno and dos (tre is boring at times but doesnt contain the utter crap as the first two)

Yeah, Dos is an abomination, Nightlife is probably the cringest song known to man.

Uno is actually kinda fun, but it's still very average.

Tre is a good album on it's own merits, a strong 3 for me.

It's a major shame how lazy they've gotten, considering how talented they are, and how nothing they've done since 2004 has fully showcased how brilliant they actually are

True, I don't know if there's anyway back for them tbh.

Weren't they in a similar position pre-AI however? At the time, Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning paled in comparison to Dookie, then they brought out AI and probably became as popular as they've ever been. However, I doubt Insomniac, Nimrod and Warning were as poorly received as the trilogy or 21st, and obviously record sales don't mean jack for a band's quality.

According to Billie and Rob Cavallo, they're trying. Although Xmas Time of the Year certainly didn't show it, it's a christmas song they probably wrote that day to serve the purpose of fan-service. I still have hope they can pull something good to even great out. They just need decent production and 12-13 great songs instead of terrible production, and 36-37 filler type songs.

It's a major shame how lazy they've gotten [2] , Green Day going hardcore punk would be interesting for sure.

Whenever they put out a new album I'll probably give it a spin, but I've lost hope a while ago sadly.

I've seen them live twice, and both times Billie kinda made me mad with his over the top audience participation lol. Just play the damn song.
