By far the greatest thing they ever did. Operatic yet not over indulgent. Deeply meaningful but filled with the angst that made them famous in Frogstomp and Freak Show. I still love this album and have listened to it over and over

Paint pastel princess is an outstanding track on the album also, probably one of the most complex with black tangled heart

This record really is amazing. It's a shame the name Silverchair leaves a bad taste in the back of peoples throats like the thought of Sour Worms does for me.
I recon this is one of the best Australian albums of all time...

I can relate to paint pastel princess. I also take aropax, but in my case it's because i have social anxiety disorder. I don't like to take them but I have to, to overcome my social fears.

Track 4 is legit post hardcore almost

Spawn (Again) is sweet yeah, the original version on the Spawn soundtrack doesn't come close to being as good as this. Check out "Satin Sheets" from this album as well.

I'm jamming the whole album right now haha, it's...eclectic? There are a lot of different styles/moods throughout this album. Been digging every track so far however.

It's probably in my top 3 albums of all time, and I know what you mean with the different styles/moods. Their vocalist suffered from anorexia and was basically dying, and either in the midst of the anorexia or the recovery, he secluded himself and wrote most of this album. Listening to songs like "Emotion Sickness" and "Steam Will Rise" still gives me goosebumps.
