This album is like a human LP5 but it's still 3rd-tier Autechre, no need to jump on its dick like gae vampires guys.

maybe now on the internet but ive talked to a few old heads and this was a big thing when it was released. it was kind of the first indication that they were about to completely leave earth. confield was only 4 years later.

Aesily their worst album. It's safe to say no track here is even worth listening to more than 5 times, including Cichli, which sounds like second-hand LP5 material. Nuane and Hub are just cartoonish and sound like demo tracks.

Let's agree to disagree then. For me this album is the only release from them which I can't get my head around AT ALL, it sounds like a highly elaborate unfinished sketch. I simply can't understand it, just like I can't understand people who live with big dogs in small flats in cities, or "humans" who enjoy winter and snow. It's all alien to me in the worst possible way.
