It'll divide fans, but when it comes to Gorillaz, expect nothing, and you'll be pleased. And thank you Deviant, THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY GIVING THIS ALBUM THE PRAISE IT DESERVES!

did you just listen to half of the song or something

No, I wrote this without listening at all, what do you think?

Plastic Beach rolls along at an almost soothing pace and all the tracks on offer serve only to compliment each other"

you might've left out a word or two there

I must be blind, can you tell me?

let me take a guess:

"Plastic Beach rolls along at an almost soothing pace and all the tracks (offered?) serve only to compliment each other"

unless you meant "all the tracks on offer" which I can see but sounds a bit awkward

It's still a proper sentence though, I guess the decision is up to the reviewer.

Yeah, I see what you mean about it possibly reading awkwardly. If enough people speak up about it i'll change it, but Bloc is right. It's still a proper sentence

Giving this a 3 after my first few run throughs. Leaving room to bump up when I get my physical copy. I could definitely hear the 80's influence throughout most of it. Pretty much just a really chilled out, relaxing album, although I did kinda feel that it started to drag during the last quarter.

Nice review, correct rating too. I'm pretty much settled at a four now and I don't think it will grow anymore. Have a pos.

I'm working my way through their older albums sometime this week Dev.

The Gorillaz s/t was one of the first albums I ever bought. It was mainly because of the artwork/cartoon band members and Clint Eastwood.

I've always though they've gotten better with each album. Admittedly I haven't heard the s/t'd in awhile though
