You know what's the biggest problem in sonic youth entire discography?

KIM'S FUCKING VOCALS

In a thousand leaves she is ANNOYING AS FUCK. I hesitated to listen to them after listening to that album

She started to realise that she was an awful singer right at the end of their career. In Murray street at least she tried to make some descent vocals.

the male vocals are what i think are lacking.
i got like 4 more tracks and ughh the instrumentals are so good but this just isn't interesting enough for me

Thurston is a pretty descent singer if you ask me.

Lee is probably the one who best vocalized of the three. Listen to hoarfrost if u don't believe me.

i wish he sounded like he had the energy that he did throughout The Wonder more often. that was a good one

She was " fairly acceptable" in both dirty and experimental jet set....

I like spider one vocals for example and he is a pretty monotonous singer. I could improve his vocals if I want.
