Those middle three songs, "The World Is A Thorn," "Tie This Around Your Neck," and "Just Breathe" really make this album for me. And I like "Collapsing" more than I liked "Fading Away," which helps a lot, though "Carry Me Down" is my favorite ballad by the band since "My Heartstrings Come Undone," and "Driving Nails" doesn't quite compare.

this isn't their best, but it has it's highlights. for me, collapsing, driving nails, and tie this around your neck are by far the standout songs. the rest are good but kinda meh...

My friend just bought me this album and it is amazing.

The tide began to rise = Carry me down > Driving Nails = Blood in the tears when it comes to the ballads. I don't like heartstrings at all tbh.

I cant think of any worthwhile song on this entire album. At least the last album had songs like Storm the Gates of Hell and Sixteen (I think?). The best album they released by far was The Tripytch.

I see this as their second weakest album, yet it's still very good. Demon Hunter is one of the most consistent metal bands out there.
