I found the album to get better with every listen since Tuesday. I don't understand the comparison with Mastodon and High on Fire. Yeah, I mean, their popularity has risen at about the same time as each other, but musically they are different entities. High on Fire is more influenced by Motorhead, Slayer, Celtic Frost, and bands of that nature. As fan of these guys for 6 years, I just think that their albums get more intense. But I mean, if you expect them to do something different for each album, it isn't going to happen....I believe. They are just out to write heavy ass rocking songs. Either you like or hate it.
