done, I'll give it a couple more listens before I decide on a rating but atm it's a 3. I liked the improved clean vocals, but overall it was a bit 'auto-pilot' and as you said the solos don't really belong on a modern DT album.
Iridium was a fantastic song though, and the title track and My Silent language were great too

I do agree that his clean voice has really improved a lot, I enjoy it. Stanne's vocals are easily the best part about the album.

Exactly. Along with the big name bands releasing albums this year (Burzum, Darkthrone, uhh...other people) there will probably be a score of lesser known bands that will release some great stuff. I'm still finding stuff from 09 that i really love

there was tons of new death metal bands putting out some awesome shit last year (Funebrarum, Tribulation, Revolting, Slugathor, Ulcerate etc) hopefully they'll be as much this year
