That second disc man. The first disc is amazing and all but disc 2 is just in another league. Summer Freeze really hit me for the first time last week, and One Lick Less/Scarlette contrast so well.

This is also one of those albums where every single song has a moment where it just grabs you by the throat

We Invent You-the huge climax after the drum break

Look A Ghost-This is the most immediate song so everything I guess

December-The thing where the guitars pan left right left right

Treachery-Entire second half

Terminus-Awesomely written verses and third section

Demons Sing Love Songs-Justin's chorus melody

Off This Century-dat main riff

One Lick Less-Weird noise thing, acoustic guitar gently fading in, Justin's harmonies, epic snare fill, this has it all

Scarlette-Best Unwound bass line

October All Over-Opening riff

Summer Freeze-Just everything about this song's atmosphere

Radio Gra-the strings man, the freaking strings

Below The Salt-Bass line and piano chords

Who Cares-1940's trumpet solo

been so long since the last time I used an album as a soundtrack for playing a game

That was for Borderlands 2 and was listening to Cosmogramma I think

that was like a year ago now damn

I'm not sure if I can think of anything this would make a good soundtrack to tho

i like listening to clouddead when i play majora's mask, it really adds to the surreal and creepy but sometimes pleasant atmosphere of that game

This album consumes all in its sneer. Autumn's here -- time for some fucking Unwound.

like just not quite as good as Fake Train or New Plastic Ideas but somehow near perfect
can't think of more than 3 artists with a discography better than Unwound
