That song is what got me into Ihsahn. I still remember listening to it for a month straight because it felt so different to everything else I was hearing at the time, then listened to the whole album and well, it's my favorite album altogether now.

I could totally see that yeah. This one together with Atktis. are the crowning achievement of his solo stuff, two incredible albums that can even hold their own next to the Emperor stuff I think. And many of his other solo works aren't that far behind either! Really love Eremita and Das Seelenbrechen for instance.
