Third listen of Aenigma really hit me...probably going to 4.5 it. The final track is probably my favorite but all of them are really enjoyable. I'm ecstatic that there's not bullshit like Wayakin.

"Just listened to against the grain and it was solid until they decided to plateau the song but sticking to pop-like structures of repeating the chorus too many times. There wasn't really anything wrong with the chorus but the song didn't really go anywhere except for mid-sections transitioning riff."
agreed with Captain, I've noticed the same thing in Image of Time too, although the choruses alone are awesome

This shit is pretty great but my attention span for super long albums keeps getting lower and lower. I wish they'd shorten it up a bit.

their new one has shorter songs

This is great but it feels like this album doesn't know what theme to adopt

Gonna get on this bb today.

This was fucking amazing until I hit Wayakin lol, what the hell...

I've always liked this album but the vocals have always been somewhat of a turn off. Just heard this today after yearssss and it's held up quite well

Could it be that the hate for Wayakin -- a song celebrating an indigenous nation -- is because white Americans are uncomfortable with the subject matter?
Possibly.
It's a banger.

Good bump, album rules

Don't be silly. And personally I don't hate it, it's just... strange.

Apparently never rated this, I'm a fucking clown.
Opener still melts face a decade+ later. Awesome band and not nearly mentioned enough.

New album might be their best one

They've been a 3.5 band for me since the beginning but the new album is many steps above
