Power, Feeling, Energy.

Every single record made in the 70s had it and each band played with it until their fingers were bloodied stumps.

40yrs down the line you can still taste it.

tesseracts new one has a similar vibe.

For a five year period, the stones released 4 albums all absolute classics, I think younger people think "oh Rolling Stones, they are for old people" but I implore all of you to check out this, Exile On Main street, Sticky Fingers, and Let it bleed, you will find ballsy, racy, trippy, music that stands the test of time.

Agreed wham. All true classics, if i had to pick one, i'd probably go with Sticky Fingers, it seems to be the Stones album i spin the most. The Stones 1968-'74 were at the top of their game. Peerless blues/rock. Looking back, Brian Jones' inevitable self destruction was, perversely, a blessing for the Stones. The Mick Taylor period has never come close to being matched.

besides for the "hits" on this, jigsaw puzzle and the 1-2 punch of factory/ salt to close the album, I love killer closers, really put this in a class of its own

Please allow me to introduce myself

I'm a man of wealth and taste

I've been around for a long, long year

Stole many a man's soul to waste

And I was 'round when Jesus Christ

Had his moment of doubt and pain

Made damn sure that Pilate

Washed his hands and sealed his fate
