God the very beginning of Demons is so strange

It's like the left guitar doesn't come in right

Or like there was a longer intro but it was cut out

And whenever it goes back to that section of song that left guitar doesn't play at all

It's really quite odd

Nah this is where John really started becoming a good vocalist.

I'd say Hidden Hands is where he started giving good performances. The band as a whole really stepped up their game for that album.

I love his harsh singing, especially on Eternal Return and Human Romance.

I need to jam more of this band's stuff, have only heard this and The Human Romance.

This slays, THR not so much.

It's always been Hidden Hands > Undoing Ruin >> This, in my opinion. The two tracks released so far off the new record sound so fucking good though, I can't wait. I'm thinking it'll be one of their best.

Why doesn't anyone talk about how hard The Eternal Return slays tho?

It's got some great songs on it, like the Tides or the last two tracks, but other than those it's a bit meh. Not bad by any means but I have no desire to listen to anything but those tracks.

I like The Eternal Return, its just not some of their best material.

@hawks check Hidden Hands and Undoing Ruin, i think youll dig those. And maybe check out the Timeless Numbers single from their upcoming album, it riffs so goddamn hard, they havent really done anything like it before.

The production on The Eternal Return is absolutely awful, other than that it's pretty decent.
