"Rolodex Propaganda my friend." If it's just 1 song, it'll save me a heap of time. ;-)

"album needs to be intensely emotionally impacting" Fair call... Not many do that, but it definitely helps.

"props to you Davey for this review" Appreciated ziroth.

"I wouldn't say he's been flamed, no ones trying to abuse him. Regardless whether or not he gives this album a 5 i still think he should definitely check out the 3 albums mentioned previously. " Agreed, I don't think I'm being flamed at all. And yes, I will be checking out those albums in due time. Probably early in the new year after I've listened to as many '09 albums as possible.

"The only reason he's being called out is because of that summary statement" Agreed, understood &... fully intended. Having a (controversial) discussion point is what this website is (or should be) about to some degree.

I'm delighted by the goodness of this album. "The Weak's End" is one of my all time favorite albums

and "The Question" was pretty good then the band just started sucking. Here their potential shines

again. As far as the whole RoC/finest post-hardcore album goes, eh eh I never listen to RoC. It's

GOOD but not much more. thanks for the review without which I wouldn't have gotten this

Ya know, I'm not gonna lie... There really are some absolutely fantastic songs on this album. Lots of it is incredibly catchy also.

Everyone is going to have different opinions on the classics of this genre in particular. Post-hardcore is such a diverse label that it's easy enough to love one band whilst vehemently hate another in the same spectrum. I personally couldn't stand Full Collapse, whilst I think Worship and Tribute and Relationship of Command are both amazing.

Forces outside of Sputnik have convinced me to "up" my rating for this.

"hell, Boy's doing a bang-up job supporting his arguments, that's for sure." Oy... That's Mr. Boy to you. ;-)

"i read the review and i lol'd at every quote" I know, I know... I've never made a mistake either! ;-)

"eh eh I never listen to RoC. It's GOOD but not much more." ... " by awesome you mean weird enough to seem cool right" Hmmmmmmmm.

"thanks for the review without which I wouldn't have gotten this" You're welcome Natey. Glad you enjoyed the album.

"ugh, the fall of troy." Forgive my ignorance here, but should Fall of Troy be classified as post-hardcore?

"Forces outside of Sputnik have convinced me to "up" my rating for this." Does your girlfriend like it?

Like I said previously, this review has raised some great discussion. Good stuff.

I was convinced that I wouldn't give an album a 5 this year, but this one has me seriously considering it.

Since listening to this straight for a week or so, I've begun to consider changing my rating to a 5 as well.

When I first listened to this album, I didn't think it would get a 5. Maybe a 4 if it grew on me.

My initial rating was 3 and I now see the error of my ways.

"I was convinced that I wouldn't give an album a 5 this year, but this one has me seriously considering it." High 5 Mentalityofa. Haha. Get it... Get it.

"Since listening to this straight for a week or so, I've begun to consider changing my rating to a 5 as well." Peer group bullying demands you do it. Plus, listening to an album for a week straight demands it!
