I'll need to revisit this, but yeah. This is one of the first albums I discovered from this site, and I pursued it simply because of its stellar album art. But there were only a few songs that really impacted me; many of them struck me as insubstantial, both through Sole's performance and through production that felt more thin than anything.
If anything, I did get a lot out of his lyricism and the sick imagery that sometimes comes with it. There's a song like six songs through this- maybe it's Bait??- and that was always my favorite here, mostly because I remember Sole with some great lyrics on it.
